Duluth, MN — Northland Community Wellness Day (NCWD) is a community-wide event that offers a variety of informative and fun activities based on health and wellness initiatives. All ages are welcome, and receive free admission and parking. Event topics include health and wellness, public safety, environmental awareness, financial literacy and more. The sixth annual event will be held Saturday, March 28, 2015, in the University of Minnesota Duluth’s (UMD) Romano Gym from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
More than 60 wellness-related businesses and organizations will be present, along with several presentations listed below.
“Northland Community Wellness Day is a collaborative effort that aims to promote healthy families and communities through education and awareness,” said Michelle Russell NCWD Co-Chair. “This exciting event engages the whole community in a conspiracy of wellness.”
The day also includes a guided hike through Bagley Park and an opportunity to meet local, elected public officials. For more event details, visit northlandcwd.org.
